I was sad to hear the local residents effectively stopped the Brethren School going ahead on the outskirts of East Orange. Education is vital to grow a town. Let's hope the desire to have a nice place to live does not erode the educational opportunities for Orange residents. I live over the road from a Catholic primary school in Hill St and I have learned to live with the noise and bustle of buses and children's screams by giving it a big berth when I go past it. One day I may move to a quieter area.
